● As a Gerontologist for many years I realized that time and touch were the greatest healers. I then pursued Reiki in 1995, and have been practicing ever since. Over the years I have witnessed many amazing results.  In May of 2014 I had the joy of putting my training and beliefs into practice, for a bigger issue. A cancerous ovarian cyst was detected, and needed surgical removal.  In communication with my Surgeon, I requested no narcotics be administered, only over-the-counter pain relief. I wanted to put my Reiki practice to work. All went well.  Surgery was Wednesday, with little to no bleeding, or discomfort, and I was off even minor pain relief by Monday. I am convinced that Reiki made a difference in this situation. Reiki doesn’t eliminate the human experience, however it can assist with ease and flow.

● When I was introduced to Reiki I was somewhat skeptical at first. I tend to be analytical or scientific about philosophic or esoteric approaches to healing and enlightenment. But I can truly say that after a personal session with a Reiki Master, I feel there were subtle changes for the better. Not just in my body, but especially in my peace of mind. I also owe this somewhat to the encouragement and wisdom of those around me who are living the Reiki tradition. I now feel less burdened with emotional stress about the paradoxes of the human condition and look forward to more Reiki experiences.
